Liverpool vs Everton
England – Premier League
Date: Saturday, 20 February 2021
Kick-off at 17:30 UK/ 18:30 CET
Venue: Anfield.
The reigning champions have now conceded the title, and now the race is on for a top-four finish. This was something expected after the Reds were riddled with back-to-back injuries to their main players.
Currently, they are placed sixth in the table, and their usually sturdy defense looks worryingly weaker at present. Moreover, Anfield once used to be their fortress, and now they are on a losing run there.
On top of that, they are expected to take on their arch-rivals, which would only put them under further pressure.
However, the Toffees too are going through a dismal run. They too are conceding in plenty, and are severely inconsistent lately.
They also do have an inferior h2h record against this foe over the years, and have let in goals in huge numbers in the process.
By the looks of things, it’s a given that the upcoming encounter will be a fiercely-fought one.
However, the one thing that needs to be understood is that both teams have great offense, despite the struggles they are currently experiencing at the back.
As such, expect goals to come from both teams this Saturday at Anfield.

- The hosts are on a four-game winning run at this stadium.
- The last the guests won at this venue was back in 1999.
Liverpool vs Everton Prediction
The Reds lost 3-1 on the road the last match-day, against Leicester. In the meantime, Carlo Ancelotti’s men lost 0-2 at home the past game week, against the relegation-threatened Fulham.
Going on, Klopp’s men were winless in nine of their previous thirteen overall games, and they had also lost three of their former four matches. They are also on a five-fixture winless run at home, and embarrassingly on a three-game losing run at Anfield.
On the other hand, their counterparts were winless in four of their last five overall matches, and had conceded a total of nine goals from their past three games.
On top of that, the Toffees also have a worrying h2h record against this foe – particularly at this venue.
As such, the expectation is that goals will come from both teams this Saturday.
