Juventus vs Inter Milan
Italy – Coppa Italia
Date: Tuesday, 9 February 2021
Kick-off at 19:45 UK/ 20:45 CET
Venue: Allianz Stadium.

The Old Lady are finding their form right when the season has entered its climatic second half. They are on an impressive run of results, and have been scoring goals in plenty. Especially at home, the team has been on a roll.

This Tuesday, they welcome the Nerazzurri for the second leg of the Coppa semis, and note that Andrea Pirlo’s men hold a huge advantage.

They had already won the first leg, that too on the road, and thus have the away-goals advantage as well.

It goes without saying that this is an uphill task for Antonio Conte’s men, as they will have to score at least twice in ninety minutes.

The in-form offense of the Old Lady, spearheaded by Cristiano Ronaldo will try to feast on the opportunities provided by the desperate visitors.

Moreover, Pirlo’s men also have a superior h2h record against this rival over the past several years as well, especially so at this venue.

As such, expect a Juventus win this Tuesday.

However, note that this is the second leg of a knockout tie, between two bitter rivals, and importantly between two in-form offenses. Anticipate goals in plenty at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus vs Inter Milan: Head-to-head (h2h)

  • Pirlo’s men had recorded 11 of the past 14 overall wins.
  • They had scored two or more goals in four of the former five clashes.
  • It’s been nine years since the hosts have won at this stadium.
  • The home team had won five of the past seven meetings at this ground.

Juventus vs Inter Milan Prediction

The Old Lady are on a six-game winning run, and had won ten of their past eleven fixtures. Note that they had also scored two or more goals in ten of the preceding eleven games.

At home, they are on a seven-fixture winning run, and had scored a total of 20 goals in the process.

In addition, they had won the first leg 1-2 on the road, and thus lead in aggregate scoreline, as well as have two away goals their name.

As such, Conte’s men will have no option but to go after goals, and this will put them in a dangerous scenario against the Juve offense.

Expect Juventus to have the upper hand this Tuesday.

Still, understand that the Nerazzurri have scored two or more goals in nine of their past twelve overall games, and they were also unbeaten in 16 of their former 18 match-ups.

Count on them to score at least once this Tuesday. And likely, the Over 2.5 Goals seems like a safe bet.
