Premier League: This is not right – Havertz laments Chelsea’s decision to sell top player

Germany international Kai Havertz has said it was not the right decision for Chelsea to sell Jorginho.
The Chelsea forward also pointed out that it was not expected that the whole set of new players signed by the club in the last two transfer windows to start performing optimally immediately.
Chelsea brought in the likes of Myhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Enzo Fernandez in the January transfer window and these players, except for the Argentine World Cup winner, have not picked up from where they stopped at their former clubs.
He told The Guardian: “A dozen players have arrived since the summer; it’s not easy. Enzo [Fernández] and [Mykhailo] Mudryk have come for a lot of money and they’re only [22], you know? You cannot expect them to be Neymar straight away. It’s like me: it takes time.
Havertz sees the sale of Jorginho as a bitter pill to swallow. Insisting, “This is not right,”
“He calls me one evening and says: ‘I’m gone.’ I was like: ‘What the? How is this possible?”
