Premier League: I want to see you perform on pitch – Lampard messages Mount

Chelsea’s new interim manager, Frank Lampard, has sent a clear message to midfielder, Mason Mount,
Lampard told Mount he wants to see him perform on the pitch.
The coach spoke at his first press conference on Thursday after he was appointed the club’s new manager.
Mount’s current deal with Chelsea will expire in the summer of 2024.
The England international is yet to sign a new deal with the West London club.
Mount did not regularly feature for Chelsea under former manager Graham Potter and could be let go in order to avoid a breach of Financial Fair Play.
“Mason Mount has always been a fantastic player for me,” Lampard said.
“I know what I get from Mason. I want to see him perform on the pitch. He’s a huge player for Chelsea”.
