Petr Cech has set another interesting record in Stamford Bridge as a Goalkeeper Coach to return to pitch and kept for Chelsea U23 team with a win against Tottenham U23.

In Chelsea when refer to legendary Goalkeepers in the premier league and in the world, in recent times, the name Petr Cech won’t be forgotten easily as the Czech Republic international, has written his names amongst the greats.

Petr Cech who signed for Chelsea back in 2004, has gone on to be arguably the most successful goalkeeper in the history of Chelsea football club, his achievements speaks for itself before he left the club in 2015 after winning the premier league under former and current Tottenham Hotspurs manager, Jose Mourinho.

Cech made the comeback to Chelsea in 2019, as technical director and goalkeeping coach in the club where he spent 11 years winning for premier league title during that time.

However, Petr Cech has been named in the active Chelsea players squad despite announcing his retirement before taking his role at Chelsea.

The legendary goalkeeper was named in the starting eleven of the under 23 squad to face, Tottenham Hotspurs youth team in the juniors premier league on Monday night. This appearance by Cech, has earned him a lot of praises by Chelsea Fans who sees him as a legend of the club.
