Lampard confirms move for Erling Haaland in January, 2021.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for only two signings in the January transfer window. Frank Lampard has identified key positions that hee needs to fix in his bid for Premier League title. The Blues signed Timo Werner from RnB Leipzig for that role because he had proved to be a goal machine. The player has however been played more as a winger than a central striker. Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud have played that role more.

According to The Sun, Chelsea have made Borrusia Dortmund goal machine Halaand their number one choice. The phenomenally rated strar has been scoring goals for fun in the Germany league. Chelsea think that he can help unlock Timo Werner who has become a bit rusty in front of goal. The Blues are looking to dig dip into their pockets and fund the transfer since they have made him their first choice signing for January window. Declan Rice is the second signing to be pursued as Frank Lampard is interested with the England star.
