Huge Move: Chelsea sign Brighton star defender for £55million Fixed Fee As medical Completes – Fabrizio Romano

Marc Cucurella's First Words After Completing £62m Chelsea Transfer From Brighton

Italian Sport Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Marc Cucurella has completed his Chelsea’s Medicals in London on Thursday evening. The Spanish Defender is expected to become a Chelsea Player after both Chelsea and Brighton sign the documents for the deal.

Brighton had on Wednesday, initially debunked claims that they have reached an agreement with any club over Marc Cucurella but that has been put to bed as it’s just a matter of time before Marc Cucurella becomes a Chelsea Player.

Fabrizio Romano, in a tweet on Thursday evening, stated that Chelsea will pay an initial fee of £55million to Brighton while the Seagulls will receive additional £7million based on performance related add-on.

Part of the agreement was that Chelsea academy graduate Levi Colwill will move to Brighton on loan for next season and will return to the West London club in 2023.

it’s understood that personal agreement won’t be an issue because Chelsea have reached an agreement with Marc Cucurella since Monday.
