Big Announcement: Chelsea ready to finalise the inclusion of Two defenders before Deadline, Rudiger to commit self to the Club

Without much doubts, Chelsea football club will be looking forward to winning some more trophies under the management of Thomas Tuchel before the 2021/2022 season is over.

The West London club made some signings during the summer as they aim to rival the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title this season.

However, that is not quite working out well for the Blues as they are currently occupying the 3rd position on the Premier League table despite their recent 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.

But now, Chelsea could be rocked with reports that experienced left-back Marcos Alonso could be on his way out of the club before the end of the transfer window.

The 31-year-old Spain International, who joined Chelsea after leaving Serie A side Fiorentina in 2016 has been an important member of the first-team squad over the previous seasons.

The experienced left-back was quite involved for Chelsea during the 2020/2021 season where he scored two goals in 17 appearances in all competitions.

Marcos Alonso has also been readily available for Chelsea this ongoing season and has scored one goal and provide three assists in the 28 matches he has played so far.

His impressive performances in that left-back role is believed to have attracted interests and according to reports from The Sun, La Liga side Atletico Madrid are keen on signing him.

The reports further claimed that Atletico Madrid are seemingly interested in the left-back and are now eyeing a transfer move for Marcos Alonso from Chelsea.

It is believed that manager Diego Simeone wants to add more quality to his defensive options and he has identified Marcos Alonso as a needed addition to the squad.

That said, it remains to be seen if Chelsea football club will be interested in offloading the experienced Marcos Alonso to Atletico Madrid before the end of year.
