EPL: Check out Table, Top Scorers, Clean Sheets, Assists And Fixtures Ahead Of Match Week 8

The premier league competition will be returning to action this weekend after two weeks of inactivity due to international break, and as such, alot of actions and drama are expected to be displayed. So because of that, I decided to put up this article, to display the current premier league table, top scorers, clean sheets, assist leaders and all fixtures ahead of match week 8.

A. Top scorers: Liverpool talisman Mohammed Salah, is currently leading the race in winning this season premier league golden boot award, after he scored in all Liverpool’s September fixtures. While Bruno Fernandes who scored a hat trick in the opening day of the premier league competition, is occupying the fourth position with 4 goals from 7 matches.

B. Assists Leaders: Manchester United star player Paul Pogba, is currently leading the race in winning this season play maker award which was previously won by Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur. He is closely followed by Gabriel Jesus and Doucoure who both have 4 assists so far this season.

C. Clean Sheets: On the clean sheets ranking, Ederson Moraes is currently occupying the first position with 5 clean sheets from his first 7 premier league appearances this season. See the picture below for more details.

D. Current Table: Below is how the premier league table currently looks like ahead of match week 8, with Chelsea occupying the first position after they defeated Southampton 3-1 in their last premier league fixture before the international break. Liverpool on the other hand, are occupying the second position after they drew Manchester City in their last premier league fixture.

F. Fixtures:

1. Southampton Vs Leeds United: The saint will be looking forward to returning to winning ways when they face Leeds United this weekend, following their 3-1 defeats to Chelsea in their last premier league appearance.

2. Norwich vs Brighton: Brighton who has been on top form this season, will be looking forward to adding more pressures to Norwich who are currently sitting at the bottom of the premier league table.

3. Aston Villa Vs Wolves.

4. Leicester City vs Manchester United: Ole Solksjaer who will be without his two defenders (Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane) this weekend, will be looking forward to returning to winning ways after his team played a disappointing 1-1 draw with Everton last 2 weekend.

5. Manchester City vs Burnley: Pep Guardiola men will be aiming the top spot of the premier league table, when they face Burnley this weekend.

6. Liverpool Vs Watford.

7. Brentford Vs Chelsea: This will be one of the most anticipated premier league fixture this weekend, as inform Brentford will be hosting Chelsea who are currently occupying the first position on the table.

8. Everton vs West Ham.

9. Newcastle United Vs Tottenham Hotspur

10. Arsenal vs Crystal Palace.
