Chelsea Dangles Unresisting World Record-Signing Offer to Zidane

There are indications that one of French’s football icons, Zinedine Zidane, may be facing a tempting offer from one of Premier League giants, Chelsea.

Reports by El Nacional on Friday says the club is offering the former Real Madrid manager a €50m deal, one that will make him the highest-paid coach in world football.

“El Chelsea li hauria ofert 50 milenions d’euros bruts a Zidane…,” El Nacional reports.

Zidane has been in the eyes of both national FAs and clubs across Europe and America. Besides offers from Brazil and the US for him to become national manager, Paris Saint-Germain, PSG, also knocked on his doors when Mauricio Pochettino got the boot. However, ZuZu, as he is also known, turned down the offers with analysts believing he was aiming to lead Le blues, the French national team.

But with Didier Deschamps reclaiming his hold on the rein shortly after Qatar 2022, he looks open to consider new offers.

And Chelsea’s offer looks good if it turns out true, particularly now that Potter’s job seems to be on the line.

Zidane is one of the world’s most successful and respected coaches in the world. He has, under his resume, an unprecedented three consecutive Champions League titles, the first ever manager to do so, and two La Liga titles while in charge of Real Madrid.
