Sevilla won Rennes 3-1 in yesterday’s fixture as they’ve finished on second place ahead of Chelsea. Kounde scored for Sevilla in the opening minutes of the first half from Idrissi’s assist before the half time whistle went off En-Nesyri scored for Sevilla as they doubled their advantage. En-Nesyri made it 3-0 in the second half and Rutter converted from the penalty spot to grab a consolation goal for Rennes.
In Group F, Lazio drew 2-2 with Club bruges as they proceeded to the next stage of the competition. Corea opened the scoring for Lazio in the opening minutes of the first half, club bruges scored an equalizer as vormer reacted with the leveler in the 15th minute of the first half.
Ciro immobile scored from the penalty spot as Lazio led in the first half of the match. Club bruges grabbed the equalizer in the second half of the match through vanaken despite being down to ten men.
Borussia Dortmund won Zenit St Petersburg 2-1 in yesterday’s fixture, St Petersburg took an early lead in the first half of the match as Driussi scored for the hosts. In the second half of the match, Dortmund scored twice as they secured three points, Piszczek and Witsel scored for the visitors in the second half.
In Group G, Juventus won Barcelona 3-0 as they topped the Group table. It was an impressive performance from both teams but one had to be the winner. Cristaino Ronaldo scored twice from the penalty spot as Juventus were in control of the match, McKennie scored a sensational goal from Juan cuadrado’s assist.
That was Cristaino Ronaldo’s first goal against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League. Dynamo kyiv won Ferencvarosi 1-0 as they booked themselves a place in the Europa League last 32 play offs.
Manchester United lost 3-2 to RB Leipzig as they were frozen off the UEFA Champions League group stage. It was a big loss for ole solskjær side as his team tried getting back into the game in the second half of the match. It was a result that Manchester United and fans never hopped for.
