Atletico Madrid offer Joao Felix and Cunha to Chelsea as January transfer gets near.

At Stamford Bridge they are very alert to the transfer market. Striker Armando Broja recently tore his anterior cruciate ligament and so he will be out for the rest of the season. Chelsea are making an effort to find a suitable replacement.

According to ‘Standard’ journalist Nizaar Kinsella, they have not had to do too much to find two options. This media outlet says that Atletico Madrid have offered them the possibility of signing Joao Felix and Matheus Cunha.

Chelsea are thinking of what to do in the January transfer window. As well as Joao Felix and Cunha, Chelsea have the names of Moukoko (Borussia Dortmund) and Memphis Depay (Barcelona) on their radar. The board like both of them.

Joao Felix is a player which, before this alleged offer from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea, was already on Chelsea’s radar. Graham Potter would reportedly be delighted to have him in his team. The problem is his price.

Atletico are thinking of giving Joao Felix away for nothing. It is the Portuguese who wants to leave and the club are willing to sell him, but only if they receive an offer of around 100 million euros.

With regards to Cunha, other teams like Wolves, Leeds and Everton are reportedly interested in the Brazilian. Kinsella reports that are now afraid that Chelsea will get in ahead of them because of their financial power.

It is usually said that are not many major signings made in January, at least not at big clubs. This time could be different if Joao Felix leaves the Spanish capital.
